Joque Good For Hard Thrusting?

Contributor: JulesRhyn JulesRhyn
Hi all

I'm thinking about buying the Joque harness. I've read good reviews about it, but just wanted to ask, for those that have used it, does it really hold a dildo in place well? I want to be able to do hard, fast thrusting and in at least a few different positions.

I have a Vac U Lock system before and hated it. It was a nylon strap one and it didn't work one bit. It wasn't even strong enough to hold up the dildo is was supplied with. No matter how tight you tightened it, it'd loosen with the weight of the dildo before you even did anything, and the dildo would hang limp, leaving a large gap between it and your pelvis at the top, and digging the base plate in at the bottom.

Another thing I hated about it - the base plate. If I held the dildo on my in place while on my back, and my girlfriend straddled me, it hurt badly. Just cut into my pelvic bone.

So basically, I don't want a repeat of that

Sorry for the long post, and thanks for reading!

Getting my wife more comfortable being a Dom?
Looking for ways so my wife can be more dom. We do peg from time to time, but I would prefer some more bondage and being more submissive including...

Harness color preferences?
Most harnesses are black, but lately I've been noticing more red/pink/white and even purple...what's your color preference? I tend to like pink and..

Is it a work out?
Do you consider having a strap on a work out? Would you rather be the one wearing the strap on or the one riding the strap on?

Strap Ons
I want to start a discussion about strap ons.

My partner and I are very into gender play, and were looking for a new strap on harness/dildo set to.

I've got a Joque Harness and it worked pretty well against hard thrusting. It's a bit slung low, though. Make sure it's tightly fastened.

Thanks for the reply I've ordered one, so we'll see how it goes!

We haven't done it to any kind of extreme but our Joque has done well with relatively hard, fast thrusting. All of our dildos have fairly large bases (2.75" and up) so that helps with stability. Even a dildo with balls (VixSkin Johnny) worked well. Of course a slimmer, smooth dildo with a large base will have less drag so you should be able to pound harder and faster than with something with texture or more girth.

We're still very new to pegging so we've only "tested" the Joque in a couple of positions so far - doggy and modified missionary - and it was both comfortable and stable. Our dildos are in the 1.75"-2" diameter range and weighty (VixSkin) and I've been very impressed and happy with the Joque's performance.

It holds up well to hard thrusting. Once adjusted it doesn't slip or slide unlike many others. It is very well worth the price.

My wife loves her Joque because 1) it's VERY comfy, 2) it's very secure, and easy to tighten up on the rare occasions it becomes loose during play, 3) it accommodates pretty much all sizes of dildos, including ones with balls, 4) it's easy and quick to swap out dildos during play and 5) it's easy to take care of. It also seems pretty durable, but we've 'only' had it for two years or so.

Please let us know what you think about yours!

And thanks for the warning on vac-u-lock.
