Hello. I often see reviewers complain that the Feeldoe nor the Nexus stays in for them. I notice that the part of the nexus that is meant to go into the wearer's penis/vagina is more long and penis shaped, while strapons like the feeldoe have a bulbous shape. Now, I'm not asking about these strapons necessarily, but in general. What do you find to stay in better without a harness? I have stronger anal muscles than I do vaginal muscles (I'm more used to butt play) so I could end up very well using this anally.

Does the bulb of a strapon dildo make it stay in better?

We have the Share. The bulb is not enough to make it stay in place for my wife. We recently used it with the RodeoH panty harness and it worked very well for stimulating her g-spot while she was pegging me.

If you're holding it anally then Feeldoe works the best. If you will be penetrating your partner anally then just go ahead and use a harness, because it probably won't stay in.
My read is that the Nexus was never designed as a "strapless strap-on", just a double that works very well in a harness. Of the ones that are still sold by EF, the Share series is probably easiest to hold in vaginally without a harness.
