Advice on Buying First Strap-on???

Contributor: WildKimA WildKimA
I've been looking for a harness and dildo for a couple of days, but I'm not getting anywhere. It is for f/f sex. Neither of us is small; we're perhaps a little larger than average. For the moment I want to use it for vaginal sex, but eventually we might use it for anal, too.

What advice would you give to a woman buying her first? I'd appreciate any suggestions!

Thanks!

Kim

We have the cheap nylon harness we started with, and the SpareParts Joque. After using both, I'd definitely recommend the Joque as a first strap-on. If you can afford it, it's worth spending more to get a fantastic, comfortable harness that will last a long time (unlike the pinchy nylon one we tried first). It's easy to clean, very comfortable, fits a wide range of toys without swapping rings, is compatible with "strapless" toys like the Feeldoe, is a very stable base for thrusting, is easy to adjust for a perfect fit, and is an all-around awesome harness.

Spare Parts Joque.

It's unisex, machine washable, adjustable, comes in large sizes, fits extremely well and is very comfortable. It doesn't shift during position changes, etc. Very well made and worth the money.

I second and third this suggestion for the Spare Parts Joque. I started out with I think a latex type of material; waste of money (it was cheap) but turned me off from strap-on play for a time. The Spare Parts is washable.
In leather, the Aslan Jaguar is awesome!

Thank you, Lily, Misha and Liz for the recommendations. I looked both the Joque and Janguar up and they definitely look great! I'm headed for Babeland Seattle on Monday and I'll look at them in person. I don't mind paying a bit more if what I buy is good quality.

Thanks again!
