Leather or faux leather is both comfortable and good in terms of wear and tear. That's what we've got and we're very happy with it!

Leather will be much more comfortable than metal cuffs.

I'd recommend either the Jaguar cuffs or the Purple Fur lined cuffs.

If you are looking for something inexpensive or non -leather, I'd suggest the Plushy Gear cuffs.

I like these ideas. I may invest in the FFS.

I like leather cuffs or neoprene cuffs. The Sports Sheets Cuff and Tether Kit is great for beginners or even medium experienced BDSM players. It's also very affordable, and you can use the tethers with lots of leather cuffs if you decide to upgrade.

I'm not a fan of metal handcuffs, especially not for beginners. It's so easy to really do some nerve or blood vessel damage from these. Leather or neoprene with a Velcro or buckle fastener is much easier to use and safer.

I like leather cuffs. I think they are nice and soft and with some regular care (conditioning once a month or every two months and a good wipe down after play) they should last a very very long time.

I am partial to leather though. I like its smell and aesthetic more-so than other materials. For starter cuffs though pick something soft and pliable (not metal). It is a lot softer

Also consider rope. It is cheap and comfortable and easy to get started with if you are just starting to dabble your toes.

Cuffs are quite nice. They are also versatile and can be attached to things such as link , tethers, or under the bed restraints.
