This is something you can't learn off the internet/from talking to folks/from videos. You need to find a hands-on teacher for this sort of stuff. You can give someone permanent nerve damage (I can't feel two of my toes anymore from bottoming for rope) or much much worse.

Ask around. Mention to people that rope suspension is something you are interested in trying. While there are plenty of rope tops out there that 'think' they can do it because they have seen it done there will be tops who actually know what they are doing. Ask around and talk to others and get some insight.

Rope suspension is dangerous, however with a knowledgeable rope top you can help to minimize the risk. I say minimize because the risk is always there.
