Has anybody tried suspension bondage? I am interested in it but I am not sure where to start and I know it can be dangerous so I want to learn the right way

This is something you can't learn off the internet/from talking to folks/from videos. You need to find a hands-on teacher for this sort of stuff. You can give someone permanent nerve damage (I can't feel two of my toes anymore from bottoming for rope) or much much worse.

fet life has some posts for rope masters who are teaching classes..
As Pixel shared, this is very dangerous and can really hurt your sub. Hands on is the best way to learn suspension.

Yup. Hell, the nerve damage I sustained was from freaking regular (on the floor, no suspension!) bondage!

If rope suspension is something you are serious about I highly recommend you get out and mingle in your local fetish group. If you're not sure how to find them check out fetlife. It's free to make an account and it's a great way to keep in touch with not only your local fetish community the the fetish community as a whole.

Ask around. Mention to people that rope suspension is something you are interested in trying. While there are plenty of rope tops out there that 'think' they can do it because they have seen it done there will be tops who actually know what they are doing. Ask around and talk to others and get some insight.
Rope suspension is dangerous, however with a knowledgeable rope top you can help to minimize the risk. I say minimize because the risk is always there.
