Just curious as to whether people tend to combine the following aspects of BDSM of not.

If you engage in sensation play but not pain, pick S&M.

If pain is used in a D/s context only to assert control, pick D/s.

We don't like pain. It's not something we want to do to each other. Doesn't turn us on.

Both. I can easily play with many people, as I'm probably first and foremost a Sadist. However, entering D/s with someone is very personal. It takes a lot for me to enter a D/s relationship with someone, I'm incredibly serious about them.

I dont influct pain for the sake of pain but as part of enforcing control it's fun.

We are mostly D/s. We do some sensation play, but not all the time. We rarely use pain because I don't like it, but once in awhile we will. It is reserved for when I am being punished, but that doesn't happen very often because I am usually pretty obedient.
