I don't think so but that's just me.

No, I don't think the word Sissy is offensive in BDSM. Those who are into forced feminization refer to themselves as Sissies, so I think being referred to by that name is part of their kink. While it may play into their desire for humiliation, I do not think they would be offended by it.

Not if it's being reclaimed by someone, I don't think so. At least in the context of a BDSM scene, I doubt it would be seen as offensive unless someone personally felt that way.

maybe depend on the person

I agree with Envoutes.
I guess it would only really be offensive if used in a negative way against someone who wasn't okay with it, like most labels.

I think it's a turn on for some.

I've heard mixed opinions -- some people who are completely ok with other kinks think the "sissy" part implies that being feminine/a woman is degrading, so they aren't ok with that.
Right now I think "sissy" is degrading in a similar way that "slut" is -- not ok outside of the bedroom, but if you're into that in bed, more power to you?

Nope, though it depends from person to person

I definitely wouldn't call it "offensive" although it can be degrading in many scenarios. Definitely not something I would be/am offended by, though!

I guess some people may find it offensive, but I personally don't think it really is.

I don't like the word sissy in any setting. And I'm not even sure why.

I think it's very dependent on the person and situation - I have a partner who has had the word used against them in a very hurtful and derogatory way, and I can't imagine them being okay with it in a BDSM scene context. If people are comfy with using it in their own play, though, I don't see a problem. I'm okay with all sorts of words in scene that I would never use or let be used towards me in other situations.

All words in BDSM can be offensive to some. It absolutely depends on the person. Some love being called generally offensive terms, others hate it.

yes

When Dragon's sub femme side comes out, that's how she identifies, so in that setting, no, I don't think it's offensive. However, I also refuse to use the word as an 'insult' in the vanilla sense because I feel it's offensive in that situation. It's all in how it's used.

Like SubmissiveFeminist said, all words can be offensive. It depends on context.

Precisely what SubmissiveFeminist and Boyqueen said.

No, I don't think so

Good God No! We need to get over the tip toe lets all sing and dance around the love fire crap before we regulate ourselves out of being able to communicate! We will make it so all we can do is point and grunt one of these days! Someone says shit that could probably be offensive to me every day and if they ever stop saying it just because it is I will punch them square in the dick!

IMO, if a guy likes to wear girls underwear, heels etc yes. And he would like the label.
If a man didn't like the label for whatever reason then a bad word.
And if a man likes peggingby his wife doesn't necessarily mean he's a sissy. Some pegging couples just like the switch and added dimension to their sex life.
