If your are a beginner and have not used handcuffs before defiantly go with the Beginners furry ones. It gives you a chance to get a good feeling of what having cuffs on is like, but doesn't break the bank if you find out you don't care for the feeling.

I love, love the purple fur-lined restraints. They do run a tad small, but they rock so hard.

I would always avoid handcuffs. Even with fur padding, it can slip, and metal can bruise wrists.

I agree. Metal cuffs get painful real quick. I would not suggest them for beginners; only for those who know they like that kind of pain.

I'd go for the purple fur lined restrains. I had the beginner's furry cuffs before, it was kinda flimsy, hurts my wrist even with the furry covers, and it was easy to get out of. We quickly outgrew it.

I would say the purple lined fur ones.

I like handcuffs just as much as the next gal here but I'd say go with the lined wrist restraints. I've gotten bruised several times using my handcuffs (not fun to explain to your parents and friends), the metal is unforgiving.
So unless you're into leaving marks and pain in general you should avoid metal cuffs for anything short of light, more playful bondage.

Handcuffs are more dangerous than cuffs, and mine were quickly retired. Besides what's already been said, if you really mess up with metal handcuffs, you can break your wrist or dislocate it, and if fastened too tightly, they can cut off circulation.

I really love my fur-lined wrist restraints, just recently they started carrying the matching ankle restraints.

The fur lined restraints are much more comfortable in my opinion. The furry handcuffs are cute but in certain positions they tend to cut into the skin, which may cause unwanted pain. They will last a lot longer too.

I like wrist restraints better.

Thanks for all the awesome advice we went with fur lined restraints!

Good choice. I like leather restraints way better than handcuffs.

The purple fur lined cuffs are very nice. We like them so much that we purchased the matching ankle cuffs.
For beginners, I would also recommend the Plushy Gear cuffs, especially if you are looking for something less expensive to test your interest. They are very comfortable, easy to put on and quite secure. Great restraints for the money.
The furry cuffs...well, I wouldn't purchase them.
