Yesterday I was bra shopping and while getting measured for the correct size, I was blushing since my breasts were covered in bruises. There was no way the girl didn't see them. Has this ever happened to you? And if so, how did you feel/handle it?

I love my bruises! Of course I get really weird looks for them sometimes but I wear them with pride. =)

It depends. Most people I'm just pretty up front with them about it. If it's someone a bit more touchy like my kids or something I'll tell them I got it fighting invisible monsters or something equally crazy.

I love them, they look like stars. I think bruises are really pretty. Of course I bruise really easily, I've gotten them when I didn't think I was being rough.

If no one comments on them, i don't offer any explanation. If someone asks, unless it's inappropriate, as marmouse said, such as with kids, i'll tell the truth, or slyly suggest it, ie: smile and say "i had a great night." or something like that. Most of the time, people don't really ask or comment and i just don't say anything. Even if someone says, wow, that's a big bruise, or something like that, i just smile and agree with them. i won't offer an explanation unless someone asks a direct question. i heard about a woman who had bruises on her thighs and tush from a spanking and had to go to the doctor for her PAP and they asked if she needed to be referred to a domestic violence specialist or something. She just politely told them that the bruises were consensually inflicted and that no concern was necessary.

It hasn't happened with my boobs, but I used to get bruises on my arms and shoulders. A lot of people thought I was being abused. It was very frustrating at times.

Not really bruises, but the hickies from getting fire cupped on my back have been questioned before.

Fire cupping is a eastern medicinal practice that involves using fire to heat the air inside of a cup, usually glass or bamboo, after which the cup is placed immediately against the skin. The fire burns off the oxygen inside the cup which creates a vacuum of suction agains the skin. The cup can then be slid along the skin while remaining suctioned to the body. BDSM practitioners use it for sensation, pain, marking, energy play, and other uses. It's pretty neat. The sensation is really unique and the marks are beautiful.

I'm a little concerned about this for when I get more into activities that leave marks.

I got questioned about a bruise on my arm at work yesterday and had to explain a running into a door jam accident I had.
Okay, yeah you say... an accident?
Yes really and it happened at work last week. I was walking into the rest room at the same time a girl was leaving it, she smacked her elbow against the door and I ended up whammed against the inside door frame. We still can't figure out how it happened and are puzzled over it.
The worse part is my bruise looks like big finger prints but aren't.

BADGE OF HONOR! I'm always covered in bruises and I love my bruises at least the ones that come from play. Why because HE MARKED ME. I currently have ~15 on my chest, arms, and legs. Although I will admit the current ones haven't come from play I'm also a klutz. I don't care what they think about it wear and them proudly.

Just because you are bruised doesn't mean you need to explain it.
I remember once I was given a bracelet by my at the time master and my sister in law asked where I got it and this was in front of my nephews. My reply, "Oh I got it from my Master for my birthday." (They had forgotten so I wanted to get my dig in.) Yes I said that in front of my nephews, why because I am not ashamed of who I am.
