I've had some really weird bruises from spanking - they were like a lot of blue dots. Probably because the area affected was large - it wasn't a pinpoint spanking. But they came off pretty soon.

Yes. I've been known to accidently get a little overzealous with biting and leave huge patches of bruising. And I don't object to receiving them, as long as they're in the right places so it feels good. I've found the area where the neck meets the shoulder is absolutely amazing for biting/being bitten.

I bruise easy apparently. I wake up in the morning with bruises and I have no clue how I got them. I am not real fond of playing so rough as to purposely bruise the skin.

I don't like to get them. For some reason I don't bruise easily, so it isn't usually an issue.

The problem is, I think, nosy people. I've had friends with consensual marks and they've had "friends" and relatives butting in and attempting to convince them they are being "abused." It's the "Oprah-Dr.Phil" effect. Everybody is in everybody else's business.

Also, medical professionals are "Trained" to spot bruising and ask questions. Some do not take "I'm fine." for an answer and they don't teach power dynamics in Medical School or nursing school. For many doctors, therapists, nurses, home health care providers etc any and all markings are signs of "abuse" and it is really hard to educate these people. As people who are really abused tend to be very quiet about the markings they get from non-consensual beatings, it becomes a very difficult issue for some people. Especially women. In some states "domestic abuse" can be reported by someone other than the "victim" and although in most situations the "victim" has to be the one to file charges, I really don't want the cops over at my house getting into my business.

It can become a really confusing thing to sort out.

On my ass, I don't think I'd mind some bruises. I've seen some terrifying pics of how much damage a crop can do, though. I say if my butt looks like magenta sausage a week after being "disciplined", that's way overboard. A couple of days with a bruise I think would be kinda nice, though.

I like most bruises. I find them beautiful and think of them as temporary reminders of really fun times. BUT anything above the neck or rooted in abuse and not a source of pleasure is a turn off for me.

I love being reminded every time I get dressed of what happened the night before. That and every time I sit down. It's a nice little ping of nostalgia. I wear my bruises with pride.

My wife feels like she hasn't actually been spanked if there are no bruises a day later. Bath brush makes the best bruises.
