Ok here's the deal. My sub girlfriend is required to always ask for permission to orgasm. Orgasm control is one of her big kinks. Normally when we play I can tell when she's about to orgasm, and generally I pause and she starts begging. This time I didn't pause or even mention anything cause I wanted to see if she would ask. I just kept going until she was building and building and she cam. Without permission. She says she was caught in the moment. And I have a magic touch and she couldn't come back to reality just to ask if she had permission. I told her this deserves a Punishment. But she's debating with me and (probably adding more to her punishment) but I figured I'd give her a fair Trial. What do you guys think? Is it my fault for not pausing or tell her to ask for permission. And is innocent. Or should she have known to ask and should be punished for her insubordination? Thanks everyone!!
Allowing my Sub to debate with me, you guys get to be the jury.

Even if initially the rule was she had to ask for permission - if you weren't actively practicing that rule, it could be easily forgotten, or assumed that this time was different because your response and actions were different. She is used to playing one way, and you changed it on her randomly - so it seems more like a product of confusion than her disobeying the rule.
A test of submission is only truly a test when the sub is aware of the rule, and not confused about when and where the rule applies. If they know the rule applies and disobey, that is disobeying. If she was confused about the rule and thought that it applied to other situations, but not this situation, because you were letting her finish this time - then she didn't disobey, and the rule was unclear.

I agree with SGP. You have trained her to expect to beg after you paused. Then you decide not to pause, you have changed the rules without letting her know first. If she knows the rules and is purposefully is disobedient, then she definitely deserves to be punished. Now she knows the rule, so there will be no mercy next time.

Why does a sub need a reason for punishment?

You can't change the rules without discussing the change BEFORE you start playing -- trust is the number one factor in relationships of this nature and changing rules on a whim can cause her to lose trust especially if she starts to think you did it JUST so you could punish her.

I guess your poll is already closed so fast as to have a speedy trial. It sounds like entrapment on your part. As you asked the members to decide she does not deserve punishment. That is unless she likes to get some.

I suppose he didn't like the tone of how our votes were going, LOL. I agree, it does sound like entrapment - testing for the sole purpose of tricking and punishing

And I also agree with Stormy - this is the exact kind of behavior that breaks trust. This would be an instant contract-breaker for me if I was the sub.
