Advice for first time BDSM...

Contributor: hro789 hro789
I have been playing around with the idea of bdsm with what I have which is not much a mask and a couple of ropes, I am looking for any advice into good instructional videos, bdsm essentials, or just any advice for getting more into bdsm.

Well I'd suggest before you buy any toys to try and get in touch with a local BDSM Community where you can mingle and meet people who have been in the community for a while. From there, you could attend a party and hopefully get to see some of the different toys that are out there and talk to the people about their toys.

Since you already have some rope check out thiswebsite. It's a great place to learn some basic rope skills.

If you don't have one already get yourself a Fetlife profile and find your city. From there you will be able to find any local groups and activities that may be happening.

Definitely second the finding people in the local community. Two Knotty Boys Show you the Ropes is a great starter book for tying
