Lately I was recommended to watch the movie 'The Secretary', which apparently had some interesting and sexy things in there. So I did.

I was turned on almost from the beginning to the end. There was not see any explicit action, but that was the point. It was psychological and it was done brilliantly. The sexual tension is overwhelming and barely released. The minds at work were extremely sensual, they were credible and real.

I am not familiar with this type of movie, but some of you might. Do you have any suggestions of movies that are similar in style to the Secretary, without being porn?

I am a fan of 9 1/2 weeks, Original Sin, and Crash (the one with James Spader from 1998, not the recent flick with Don Cheadle).

I second Laurel's suggestions plus I go with "Lies". You can find it on Amazon. It's a BDSM film like The Secretary. And I've never watched "The Pet", but it's BDSM too. More hardcore, though.

Just saying that when I saw the title of this topic, I totally was going to recommend The Secretary. We've watched "Kinky Boots", "Hard Candy", "The Pillowbook" and such at some meetings and they were all PG-ish but sexual and not pornographic.

I have seen both and secretary is more on kinkier side. more erotic than EWS.

I immediately also thought of Secretary when I saw the title. This thread helps me out too, because my wife and I both enjoyed Secretary, and I am looking for similar titles to try.

The Secretary is one of my wife's all-time favorite movies. I think she has a secret crush on James Spader. So, she talked me into watching it with her. After watching it I would have to agree that it is a sexy, hot and erotic movie. I will also admit that now I have a crush on Maggie Gyllenhaal. She was so perfect for that role.
