Leo Drives My G-Spot Batty (In a Good Way)

The Vixen Leo is my new favorite dildo! It goes straight for my G-spot with a unique combo of texture, girth, and curve. If you're looking for an average-sized, cute-looking, great-feeling dildo, this is an excellent choice.

Use

The Vixen Creations Leo is a pretty standard dildo. It's made of 100% silicone, so it's body-safe and comfortable to use.

Its flared base makes it safe for anal use and appropriate for harness use. It also has a suction cup so you can use it for some hands-free action if that's your style.

It has a girth of 1 1/2", making it best suited for people who have some experience with penetration.

Material / Texture

Like all Vixen toys, the Leo is made of silicone. This is a firmer silicone than Vixen's squishy, realistic, dual-density VixSkin blend, but it's still quite flexible (it's comparable to the squishiness of a Tantus toy, if perhaps a little squishier).

It has some very subtle ridging on the top side of its shaft - so subtle, in fact, that I can't feel it during use. The shaft might as well be totally smooth.

Just under Leo's head is its crowning glory: a slender stretch of wrinkly "foreskin" which provides some intense ridgy texture. I wouldn't recommend this toy to someone who's new to penetration, not only because of its girth but also because this texture is pretty crazy. It feels almost painful, but when I'm sufficiently aroused and lubed, that scratching/scraping sensation is actually quite nice and certainly different from all my other toys.

Leo could be described as realistic, at least in terms of size and shape, but the bright orange color and black bat overlays make it very whimsical. I think this dildo would be a great choice for someone who wants a dick-like shape and sensation without a dick-like appearance, especially if you get it in a weird color or pattern rather than a skin tone.

Design / Shape / Size

Leo is girthier than I was expecting, at slightly above 1 1/2" in diameter. Some folks will need to warm up with a smaller toy before using this one. I don't need to warm up before using my Leo, but I do need to make sure I lube the toy properly.

Leo has a slight curve to enable G-spot or prostate stimulation. It's not an extreme curve, like, say, the Pure Wand, so it might not satisfy everyone's spots.

The Leo is 8" long, 7" of which is insertable. That's a bit long for the average vagina, but of course, you don't have to use the full length of the toy to get pleasure from it.

This definitely isn't a discreet toy - it's quite clearly a dildo, though I will say that a Halloween-themed dildo somehow seems more innocent and less incriminating than a regular flesh-looking one!

Performance

I bought my "Leoweenie" on a whim, because I liked its goofy appearance - so I'm surprised and delighted to report that I actually LOVE this toy.

Its size is perfect, as far as I'm concerned. It's long enough to reach my anterior fornix, and the squishiness of the silicone keeps it from hurting my cervix when I reach deep inside myself with it. It's girthy enough to be filling, but not so thick as to be painful or uncomfortable.

Its curve is subtle, but somehow it manages to plough into my G-spot faithfully with every thrust. The combination of sensations, what with Leo's head crashing into my vaginal wall and its foreskin scraping deliciously along my G-spot, is divine. (I realize that verbs like "crashing" and "scraping" aren't usually associated with pleasure, but trust me, I mean them in the best way possible here.)

I don't intend to make much use of Leo's suction cup, as I prefer to thrust by hand, but I've tested it out a few times and it's easily the best suction cup I've ever had on a toy. It holds very firmly and doesn't come loose even when jiggled and slapped around a fair bit.

The only annoying thing about the suction cup is that, as a result of it being there, the base is pretty flimsy and thin. It can be hard to keep a good grip on when thrusting quickly.

I find that Leo is a bit too long and floppy to stand up all the way in my RodeoH harness, though a sturdier harness would probably work great with this toy.

Care and Maintenance

As with any silicone toy, don't use silicone-based lubes with Leo. I've been using water-based lubes by Blossom Organics and Sliquid and they work wonderfully.

You can store Leo in the plastic tube it arrives in, or you can wrap it in a plastic bag to keep it from touching your other toys or gathering lint.

Because silicone tends to attract dirt and lint, it's a good idea to rinse off Leo before using it, if you can.

I happened to test this toy during my period, and I have to note (warning: TMI ahead!) that the ridgy foreskin tends to collect blood if used in a bleedy vagina. That area will always require pretty thorough cleaning, even if you don't use it while on your period, because it's full of tiny cracks and dips where bodily fluids and lube can easily accumulate.

Silicone dildos can be cleaned with plain soap and water, and can be sanitized by boiling for 3 to 5 minutes.

Personal comments

I'm really happy I snapped up the limited edition Halloween version of this dildo! It's one of the more unique-looking toys in my collection, and it also happens to be a fantastic dildo overall.

I agree about the tip being problematic in terms of collecting grossness. It's something to pay attention to when cleaning but doesn't necessarily take away from the dildo for me. Thanks for the great review!

I agree, it's a pain to clean that area....but I love my Leo enough to forgive him for that!

Yeah, one of my problems with toys that have "foreskin" is the fluid accumulating
