The beautiful large version of the Njoy Pure Plug is an exquisitely luxurious butt plug. It is the second-largest of its siblings, with only the Pure Plug 2.0 topping it in size. It is meant to be inserted into the ass and kept there; this is not a thrusting toy (get the wonderful Njoy Fun Wand if you want something you can slide in and out of your ass).

Naturally, all of Njoy's anal-specific toys have ultra-safe flared bases to keep them from being swallowed up inside you. Although their toys are made of steel, I have yet to injure myself with one, because they are so well designed.

The large Pure Plug isn't the one I'd recommend to a beginner (that would be the medium), but the plug's design is so great that a beginner could still work up to it with proper warm-up.

All Njoy toys are made of extremely high-quality stainless steel. It's polished to a mirror shine, so you can see your reflection in it.

The high quality of this steel means that it won't tarnish, even if you forget to wash it for a few days. This toy will probably last me until I'm dead and I'd bet it'll still look great even then.

This toy's texture is smooth all the way around. Texture-lovers won't be impressed by this toy, unless they can appreciate its many other fantastic qualities.

Steel is, of course, naturally cold, so be sure to warm it up in advance if you don't like that. Sometimes I like to sit on top of my Njoy toys for a few minutes before inserting them, so they'll be comfortably warm. You can also heat up or cool down your Njoy toys in warm or cold water.

The smoothness and non-porosity of this material means that it handles lube very well. Not as much lube is needed as with materials like silicone or rubber - and the lube hangs around for longer, which is always a plus with anal toys.

I upgraded to the large Pure Plug after some very happy months with the medium one. When I took a look at my new large plug, I thought it would be uncomfortably big for me - but actually, I can easily slip it in with no warm-up, as long as it's properly lubed!

This is because its design is flawless. The tapered tip and curved shape both make for practically effortless insertion. My Pure Plugs have never felt painful to me, like some other plugs occasionally have, because they are designed so well.

I would recommend that anal beginners get the medium size, while anyone with a decent amount of anal experience should get the large size right off the bat. It really isn't that large, but it's deliciously filling.

The diameter of the large plug, at its widest point, is 1 1/2 inches - usually the upper limit of how much my ass can handle - but, as I said, this plug is magic and so it doesn't hurt me. It's got the same diameter of toys like the Tantus Ryder and Fun Factory Boosty, but I find it much more comfortable than either of those, even though it's made of a much firmer material.

Like my other Pure Plug, this one is brilliant - possibly even moreso. It can easily be felt, but isn't annoying or uncomfortable. It causes me to experience a slow-building arousal that can last for hours. Clenching around it feels great, but so does just leaving it in there.

One thing about this plug that doesn't always work for me is the weight. It weighs 11 ounces, because it's made of solid steel. Sometimes that weight feels amazing, making me sublimely aware of the plug's presence in my ass, but sometimes it seems to pull at my anal opening in a strange way - almost like someone was stretching me with their fingers. I'm not crazy about that feeling, but if you are, you'll love this plug.

Also, there's no way I could wear this plug during vaginal intercourse, because I have a pretty small vagina as is, so there just isn't enough room to accommodate both the plug and my partner's penis. But for size queens or people with roomier vaginas, this should be able to work.

Steel is so, so easy to care for. You can wash it with anything that isn't harsh - regular soap and water will do fine. You can boil it to sanitize it (which you should do if you plan on sharing this plug with anyone). You can toss it in the dishwasher, though it might get scratched if you do that, so do so at your own risk.

For storage, I just put mine in with all my other plugs. I don't need to wrap it in a plastic bag like I do with my silicone toys, because there's no risk of it breaking down or sticking to another toy.

Steel can be used with any kind of lube you want. I usually use a thicker water-based lube, like Sliquid Sassy Booty, or a silicone-based lube, like Pjur.

Njoy's packaging leaves something to be desired. It looks classy - the black wooden box it comes in is beautiful - but when you open it up, what's inside is simply cheap pink satin over a styrofoam inlay. The styrofoam is easy to puncture or rip by accident, and the satin can easily be pulled out of the frame of the box by mistake, resulting in a cheap-looking box. I think Njoy could do much better than this.

But if you're just gifting it, it looks lovely. The person you're giving it to won't even notice the packaging because the toy is so glamorous.

This isn't the kind of plug I can wear for hours at a time, while shopping, walking around, etc., because the weight of it is just too much. It's hard to focus on anything else. The medium size is much better suited for long-term wear.
