I was massively excited about receiving the Spectra Gel Beaded Anal Vibrator|Spectra gel beaded anal vibrator - Probe by Doc Johnson. I was looking forward to further exploring anal stimulation.

The toy arrived in a very large package, which was hard to store with my other toys because of its size. I was surprised to find that when I opened it, the toy was quite flimsy because the vibrating shaft only goes up half the toy. I did not have high hopes for it after finding that out.

The texture was nice and soft to the touch. However, I immediately noticed an unpleasant aroma, and that was quite a turn off. Despite all these things, I was still curious enough to look forward to giving it a try.

I used a water based lubricant and eagerly inserted the probe. I found it difficult to do at first because of the flimsiness of the first half of the toy. It was much easier to use once I got to the part that had the vibrating shaft in it.

Once totally inserted, I turned on the vibration. It was fairly strong but not overpowering. A big letdown was the fact that I couldn’t thrust the toy in and out. If I did that, I would lose the vibration because of the vibrator only went halfway into the toy. Plus because of the flimsiness, it was also extremely difficult to maneuver. Therefore, I had to just leave the toy in place, which was far less enjoyable.

The low vibration level was not enough of me. I found that at the highest level, it was adequate but not enough to be amazing.

Something really good about this toy was the quietness of it. Even at the highest level, it was barely heard. If you like a lot of vibration, this is not the toy for you. The vibrations were only moderate and didn’t drive me to the edge.

It was easy to clean though. I just ran it under look warm water. But a disadvantage to the material is that it picks up ever piece of dust and hair in the room. That was really annoying. After I washed it, it had to air dry because if I used a towel, all the fuzz would stick to it.

When I used this toy in combination with others, I was able to achieve a pretty phenomenal orgasm. It lasted a really long time, so in the end, I was pleased with this toy. It was just the hassles that I had to deal with to get to the end result that weren’t fun.

After having more experience with this toy, I would give it 4 stars instead of my original three. It took a bit of getting used to, but once I got the hang of it, it gave me orgasm after amazing orgasm. Sometimes it takes a bit of practice!
